I didn't feel like running this morning, but having almost hit 100 miles for the month, I had to go. I got 3.5 miles in at an 8:45 pace. This put me over the 100 mile mark. I love that even when I don't feel like running or when I feel like I'm struggling during the run, I'm still consistently running faster than I was even six months ago. Progress is good.

Hello - congratulations on hitting the 100 mile mark. You have inspired me to get out today - it's cold and gray here (Bflo,NY) and rather that running I was blog surfing, when I came across your site.
I saw on one of your previous posts that you found some tips for running downhill. I live in a very hilly area, and seem to have the same problem - better at running up than down. Could you share any of the tips that you've learned?
